Thank you, dear friends, for coming along on our semester in Puebla. Mark got all our suitcases to just under the 50-pound limit, and we closed the gate for the last time at The Dear where Celia and Daniel hosted us for the semester.

Despite the fact that we arrived well after their bedtime, my sister and brother-in-law met us at the airport in Tucson. We arrived home to find that our friends, Seth and Kristin, had left flowers, breakfast, several freezer meals, and welcome home signs.

It wasn’t that I wanted or expected to stay in Mexico, but I realized on the first day back that I had a little bit forgotten that we would return. The little stack of pesos on my bedside table now are worth nothing. Everything is strange in its familiarity. We are glad to be back, sorry to leave, and left gasping at the rapid swish of time.
Being in Mexico was such a joy and honor. We liked to play with Spanlish with Daniel and Celia. One of our favorite phases was muchas thank yous. Muchas thank yous for joining us for our time in Mexico.
